For your consideration: MS Thunderbolt, a 2014, 16.1hh gelding by Vingino (Voltaire) out of a Corrado/Cor de La Bryere mare.
Imported from Ireland in June of 2019, “Ollie” displays exceptional talent in all three phases.
PEDIGREE
With an incredible pedigree for performance, Ollie’s sire Vingino jumped at the CSIO5* level and Ollie’s siblings include Cavallia/Laura Kraut (USA), Davino/Ben Schröder (NED), HH Gigis Girl/McLain Ward (USA), and D‘Arnita/Molly Ashe (USA). On the dam side, Monastery Stud Symphony’s sire Corrado combines the blood of the two great Cs – Cor de la Bryère and Capitol, with a healthy dose of Thoroughbred on the dam line through Maestose xx and Frivol xx.
EXPERIENCE
Having jumped to the 1.15m level as well as beginning his Eventing career at the grassroots level in Ireland, since moving to Canada Ollie has excelled. Ollie moved up to Training level at the Ottawa Horse Trials in Sept 2019 and finished 2nd following a successful outing at Pre Training in June. Join us in supporting Selena as she develops this exceptional young horse towards his FEI debut... and beyond!
