I first met the O'Hanlons through Pony Club and came for my first summer as a working student in 2006. I returned for a second summer in 2007 and started working full time in January 2008.
At that point my mother generously gave me three years before I had to pursue non horsey endeavours....luckily she seems to have forgotten about that as in the meantime I have been lucky enough to gain incredible experience including grooming for Selena at Rolex and Badminton as well the Pan Am and World Games.
As well as grooming I have been able to gain valuable competition experience and in 2014 received a Canadian Eventing Cross Country Style Award. 2015 saw Mistress Quigley (TB OHE homebred I started and trained) and I named the NCHTA Open Pre-Training Champions. This past year I was also honoured to receive the inaugural 2015 EMTC PRO Groom's award (complete with fancy award presenation at Bromont!).
I have never owned a horse of my own and it is thanks to Morag and Selena that I was able to graduate from the Canadian Pony Club with my full "A"
Working with OHE has fulfilled so many of my personal and professional goals, it's a pleasure working for this team.
